So, you are interested in being a USPS supplier. In order to keep our universal mail service at cost-effective and competitive prices, USPS does business with large and small suppliers that provide performance excellence. In promoting and developing a diverse supplier base, they continue to ensure that no supplier is excluded from opportunities or given preference to compete based on race, color, religion, gender, age, or national origin.
The Postal Service’s supply chain philosophy is built on the following four guiding principles:
- • Making requirements known to the marketplace.
- • By telling suppliers how we will evaluate proposals.
- • Awarding contracts based on best value.
- • By promoting economic development in the community they serve by providing access to small, minority-owned, and woman-owned businesses
- • To get started, follow the information on how to become a potential supplier:

Supplier Registration
Welcome to the USPS Supplier Registration site. All suppliers interested in doing business with the Postal Service must register their organization in our Supplier Registration eSourcing system. If you have already registered, you do not need to register again. Please contact esourcing@usps.gov with any issues.
- USPS eSourcing Supplier Registration is a module in which suppliers are encouraged to register to be eligible to participate in eSourcing events. Registration in USPS eSourcing does not guarantee a supplier will be invited to participate in an event. Postal opportunities are not usually posted on beta.sam.gov or the Postal eSourcing Portal (COUPA). Should you hear about an opportunity/sourcing event that you may be interested in, please contact the eSourcing Helpdesk team (esourcing@usps.gov ) and provide the name and/or solicitation number of the event for reference. While we are unable to assure your participation to the event, we look forward to your continuous interests in doing business with the U.S. Postal Service.
- Following step #1, suppliers must complete a 2-step process to register their organization. To start the registration process, please complete the form referenced in the link below and attach as a word document in an e-mail message to eSourcing@usps.gov. Once the initial form is reviewed and approved by the Postal Service, the primary contact listed on the form will receive an e-mail containing login credentials and a link to the Coupa Supplier Portal.Supplier Registration Form
- After the supplier completes the Coupa Supplier Portal registration process, the Postal Service will review the registration entry for completeness and accuracy. The supplier will receive a final notification once the registration is approved.
Please note that your Coupa Supplier Portal username and password will be separate from your eSourcing event username and password. eSourcing event username and password will be set up if you are invited to a USPS event.
Please see the Quick Reference Guides referenced below for detailed information on supplier registration, solicitation event access, and event management. If you need additional help or have any questions, please contact the USPS eSourcing technology support team at eSourcing@usps.gov.
Thank you for your interest in partnering with the USPS. We look forward to doing business with you.
